Insane? Maybe.

In addition to signing up for Sweet Charity [where the auction is still going on!], I just signed up for [info]ficrocksthe80s. The premise is pretty sweet -- you sign up, they give you a really recognizeable 80s song as your prompt, and you write. In any fandom you want. Now that I can do. :D Signups are only open until tonight at midnight PST, though, so get crackin' if you wanna do it.

Does anyone have the faintest idea where I can find an icon site script other than Coppermine gallery or the Icon Sort script from new-place.org? I want something that gives me a summary of the most recent icons, and maybe a full count of all icons in the site. A way to have subcategories would be fun, too. [But I hate Coppermine.]

Also, I just picked up some new speakers for Mr. Laptop; with the insanely loud construction outside -- do they really need to jackhammer directly below my window? -- the original built-in speakers weren't cutting it anymore. Despite the speakers being only $50, they have great sound quality, so I'm stoked about that. Plus, now I can have bass battles with Bass Guy next door, late at night. He tends to turn his stereo on at around 11 PM, and keep it going until about 2 AM. With paper-thin dorm walls, I'm seriously considering earplugs.

OMGOMG.

Guess who has a box waiting for her at the school package center? OMG, me. I just have to wait until after English class, and then I will be in possession of Supernatural season 2, woo! Also, House season 3, which is made of awesome, and Pride and Prejudice because I'm a big ol' softie when it comes to that kind of movie. :D

SO EXCITED, PEOPLE. ::throws confetti::

Okay, so I thought I was having a heart attack today.

Painful breathing, chest tightness, and all that. I was a little worried. And then? And then? I got lunch, drank some soda, belched... and the heart attack went away. ::snickers::

Yeah, clearly I'm a hypochondriac.

Also? I'm not sure what to make of these here iPods. They're cool and all, but I prefer glossy to matte, flat to rounded... you get the picture. I think the Metallipod -- a black 5th generation iPod with video -- is prettier than this "iPod Classic" thing they've come up with. [That said, I wouldn't mind a pink red Nano, because CUTE!] And the iPod Touch? Jeez, why not just say iPhone Lite and be done with it, Mr. Jobs?
