Well, crisis averted.
New glasses are go, even though they look pretty identical to the old ones. The optometrist was able to use my old lenses, thank Jeebus. Otherwise I'd have ended up with a SERIOUSLY large bill from them, instead of an only marginally large one.
As you can see, they SNAPPED IN HALF. Seriously, that was some shitty metal.
The new ones have a pretty flower design on the inside of the ear pieces, so that's nice.
